Privacy Policy

broyoupromised does not sell or rent your personal information. We collect only what is needed to deliver the Service.

1. What We Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, or any payment card data (payment is handled entirely by Stripe).

2. How We Use Your Data

To deliver SMS reminders, GIF/meme escalations, and AI voice calls
To generate personalized reminder text via OpenAI's API
To authenticate you via one-time passcode (OTP)
To track your task and call history for the call-memory feature
To enforce subscription plan limits
To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data to train AI models. OpenAI API calls are made with zero-data-retention where available.

4. Voice Calls & Recordings

AI voice calls are processed by Vapi.ai. Calls may be recorded and transcribed. Recordings are used solely to power the call-memory feature (Pro plan) and are retained for up to 12 months. By using the voice call features you consent to recording. If two-party consent recording laws in your jurisdiction prohibit this, do not use voice call features.

5. Data Retention

Task and conversation data: retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion
Voice recordings and transcripts: up to 12 months
Billing records: up to 7 years (legal requirement)

6. SMS Opt-Out

Reply STOP to any message to immediately stop all SMS from broyoupromised. Reply START to resubscribe. This is required by TCPA (US) and CASL (Canada).

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights including:

Access — request a copy of data we hold about you
Correction — correct inaccurate data
Deletion — request account and data deletion
Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
Opt-out of sale — we do not sell data, but you may request confirmation

California residents have additional rights under CCPA/CPRA. Quebec residents have rights under Law 25 (formerly Bill 64). To exercise any right, email support@broyoupromised.com.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have data from a minor, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (TLS), hashed credentials, and WAL-mode SQLite with restricted file permissions. No system is 100% secure; use the Service at your own risk.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated via SMS. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
